What’s up webfolk? I will admit right at the start of this post that it has been a while since I last wrote any blog post so please forgive me if my writing seems to be out of sorts. I did a quick look back and the last time I wrote for this marketing blog I was talking about the panda update by Google. Just a quick update on the effects that algorithm update had on this blog network has been nothing but positive for my blog network. Since that update pretty much every new post that I write on these blogs ends up on Google within about a 24 hour period. Which is awesome by the way but getting into the listings vs getting to the top of the listings and on page one is a different story altogether but I digress let’s get into those 4 necessary marketing tools that everyone should be using now a days.
OK now this should really come as no surprise to anyone but the four tools that I am referring to are all online, gee what a surprise I know! What will not come as a surprise to anyone at least I hope it won’t be are what those four things are. They are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and my personal favorite blogs gee what a shocker right? Not that blogs are my personal favorite of those four things but that pretty much the most important tools for marketing today have to do with social media.
Now I am really not going to go into why these are the go to tools of marketing for today as that was not really the purpose of this post in the first place in spite of what the title of this post says. I did want to point you all in the direction of a very interesting study that I happened to have stumbled upon earlier today and the name of that 41 page report is the 2011 Social Media Marketing Industry Report. It’s an annual report that comes from a site called Social Media Examiner it’s a great place for all those newbies out there that want to get their business online and involved. There is a lot of online marketing/learn social media and why you need to learn it all there. So if you are still reading this what are you waiting for go back to that link you just passed and click on out of here webfolk.
Until next time kudos to you peruser ![]()
